Role Overview:
We are seeking a Data Scientist (0–2 years experience) with strong fundamentals in data science and hands-on experience in R programming and database systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with data, building analytical models, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
This role requires someone who is technically curious, detail-oriented, and capable of communicating insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply data science and statistical techniques to analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
Build analytical models and perform data analysis using R. - Work with databases to manage, query, and maintain data systems.
- Assist in database administration tasks including monitoring, optimization, and maintenance.
- Work in Ubuntu/Linux environments for data processing and system operations.
- Translate analytical findings into clear insights for stakeholders.
- Document processes, models, and technical workflows.
Required Skills:
- Strong fundamentals of Data Science and Statistics.
- Proficiency in R programming for data analysis and modeling.
- Knowledge of Database Administration and SQL.
- Working knowledge of Ubuntu/Linux environments.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles.
- Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts.
- Experience working with real-world datasets or academic projects in data science.
